I'm Amanda. I have 26 years experience as a colorist, master stylist, business owner & educator. I'm a wife, a mom, a reader & a maker. I like shopping and coffee and wine and just about everything that gets called "basic" and I'm fine with that. I am excited to be working on my own out of a 200 sq ft full service salon that I finished myself next to my home in the Village of Jane, MO. I think most of what the beauty industry does to us is incredibly toxic and I am constantly looking for ways to eliminate all of that while helping you look and feel exactly how you want to. I am not attached to gender norms or expectations and I hope that you will feel comfortable in my chair and enjoy your time with me. Loving yourself is the greatest revolution.
I continue to follow my client's lead on masking. If you approach the door masked, I will mask. If you approach the door unmasked, I may or may not mask based on the health status of myself & those in my home. If you have a cold or other illness, even if it isn't COVID, please wear a mask. Please continue to be considerate of what you knowingly elect to expose me and my family to and I will do the same.

Vibrant Color may require an in person consultation if I can't tell everything through photo exchanging. If so, there is a $20 fee at consult that is refundable when a color service is scheduled at the consultation and that appointment is kept. Consultations are generally 15-30min.

Curly & Wavy Perms start at $175 and include a cut and finish in the texture you select. I am *extremely* experienced in perming. If your hair is color treated I require an in person consultation that is $20 and nonrefundable as I have to use a perm to perform the test.
I do not chemically straighten hair or perform keratin treatments, relaxers or Brazilian Blowouts. I encourage you to read about the concerns regarding the potential toxicity of these products not only to the clients but to the stylists who perform these services and endure life long, irreparable physical damage. It is my personal opinion that these services can not be performed both effectively AND safely for *both* parties, so I elect to not perform them.
